Note: Though this book is advertised as LitRPG and has “some” game elements, I believe this leans more towards Progression Fantasy. One of the best series, I’ve ever read irrespective of genre! And one of my most re-read series too! I simply cannot wax eloquent anymore regarding this series. Rich characters and world-building offer humor, political intrigue and slice-of-life elements alongside lots of monster fighting and adventure. Enjoy a weak-to-strong story with a main character who earns his power without overshadowing everyone around him, with plenty of loot, adventurers, gods and magic.

I never would have gotten the various accents right. I can hear the way each character is speaking while reading. I am glad I started with the audio books, only recently switching to the web series. and there are 213 more chapters to read RIGHT NOW! I love the performance audio books provide, and will still buy every book coming out in this series. In a web series chapters are released weekly. I was hit with a huge dopamine rush, and sat stunned. I sat down at my computer desk and looked it up. I wasn't aware this was a web series, or even what a web series was. My entire disposition changed when I found out the reason. I was low key pissed this book was under 16 hours.
